Practice Party,Studio Dance,Ballroom Dance!!
Call it what you may, here at Studio 110 we strive to encourage our
students to attend these dance functions. Anyone who owns a ballroom dance studio knows the
frustration of getting students to attend parties. I've always said, if only a fourth
of the student body would attend we'd have one hell of a party. I've been in the business
for 32 years and parties have always been a work in progress. The bottom line is that
practice parties are for students to improve their dancing. The dance studio is there for you.
The teachers are there for you. All of the students spend the money to learn.
Why not come in and have some fun, refreshments, and get to know your classmates?
I'm inviting everyone to come in and dance. No matter what your level, you'll
always benefit from some practice on the dance floor. This is my personal

2009 HOLIDAY SHOWCASE!!
Thanks to all who participated!
This year was so much fun. With several new students participating
there was an extra element of excitement. It was especially wonderful to watch the children's
performances. Our youngest performers were 7,9, and 10 years old. The adults were equally
entertaining. It's always fun to dress up and have your moment to be a star. We had a lively
audience of 130 guests that definitely filled the studio. The feedback was positive and we're so
grateful for everyone who participated and attended. We'll try to top this showcase in 2010.

WHAT'S A SHOWCASE?
At studio 110 we also provide an Annual Showcase. A showcase is similar
to a recital. It provides entertainment for the public to come and watch,
to see what our students are learning. It gives purpose and challenge
to all students participating. There is plenty of general dancing and
good food. It is a dress up occasion (our version of the Oscars!) and
all look forward to the Annual Showcase!
DANCE PARTIES AT STUDIO 110
BALLROOM: Our staff hosts a ballroom dance party once monthly.
Call ahead to be sure of the dates as some of the parties are moved due
to Steve's varying Pro/Am Competition schedule. Our parties begin with a
lesson from 7:30 to 8:00pm, then open dancing until 10:00pm or so.
There's lots of variety including Swing, Waltz, Hustle, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha,
Rumba & more. The price is $10.00 per person and includes the
lesson/dance/snacks. These parties are the
perfect place for the new dancer to practice what they're learning in
class. "If you don't use it, you'll lose it!!" Join us!
HATHA YOGA: We now offer yoga classes too! The practice of yoga
will help you gain strength, flexibility, balance and a deeper
understanding of self. This wonderful journey of discovery into your
body will help you find great potential physically, mentally and emotionally.
Your yoga practice will be as individual as you are. It is for people
of all ages and genders. Yoga is for the athlete and those with physical injuries
or limitations. Yoga practice entails a variety of postures and breathing to
open the body and heart. Yet it is much more than a physical practice.
The science of yoga is thousands of years old, with its own set of moral
codes, breathing disciplines, and meditation techniques designed to aid
you in your spiritual journey. Call Judy for prices
