The goal here at Steve Reynolds Studio 110 is to introduce Dancing to people of all ages, especially to those who have never danced before. What people may not know, is that anyone can learn to Dance! We want to get the shy, doubtful, as well as the confident out on the floor. Monthly parties, activities and group classes are a fun way to begin...

FOR THE SHY "I'LL NEVER LEARN HOW TO DANCE" DANCER...

Private lessons are available by appointment if you prefer one-on-one attention with your teacher. Individuals, couples, or small groups can work at their own pace and choose which dances they prefer to work on. Private lessons may be scheduled for 1/2 hour or one hour sessions.

FOR THE SERIOUS COMPETITIVE DANCER...

If anyone is really serious about becoming a great dancer, then competition may be for you. Even if you're not serious yet, you might get hooked! At Ballroom/Swing Competitions, students compete against other people who dance at the same level doing the same dance figures. It brings out the best in their dancing. The competitive ladies love the opportunity to dress up in beautiful ballgowns or sexy Latin costumes - complete with false eyelashes and costume jewelry! Private lessons are necessary to work on the competitive figures. If you are interested, just ask Steve.

ATTIRE...

Typically casual. We do recommend a dress shoe or loafer for both men and women. Gym shoes have too much traction and make turns/pivots/spins more difficult (it's tough on your knees too). If you are interested, we can direct you to some dance shoe suppliers in our area. "Real" dance shoes have suede bottoms. Once you've danced in these you'll never want to dance in anything else.
